These instructions refer to the KEYED SYSTEM WITH REMOTE CONTROL.
Starting the System
- Use key to OPEN THE CABINET ON RIGHT SIDE OF PODIUM this will
automatically start all the equipment inside and on top of the podium.
- PUSH ON button on the remote control located on top of the podium.
The projection unit will power on.
Selecting the Media Source
Use the remote control to select one of the following:
- LAPTOP Press DATA 1 on the remote./lir>
- INSTALLED COMPUTER (not all rooms) Press DATA 2 on the remote, and
RGB 1 on the Visualizer.
- VISUALIZER Press DATA 2 on the remote, and MAIN on the Visualizer.
- VCR Press VIDEO 1 on the remote.
- CD or AUDIO TAPE PLAYER (if available) Press VIDEO 2 on the
remote.
Important Notes:
- You will have to manually lower/raise the projector screen. If
necessary, dim the lights using the wall switch.
- The audio level is controlled by the remote control located on top
of the podium (be sure to check the audio level prior to class).
- There is another remote control device located on top of the VCR. If
you use this, it must be placed back on top of the VCR before
shutting and securing the podium.
Turning off the System and Securing the Podium
Important!
- Before leaving the room, ensure all remote controls and cables are
placed inside the podium cabinet, your cassettes are removed, and
that podium is closed and secure.
- Push "OFF" button TWICE on the remote control located on top of the
podium to turn the system off. Pressing it once will NOT shut down the
projection unit.
- Use KEY to LOCK podium. This shuts off all the equipment in or on the
podium.
Final Note:
The projector does NOT turn off immediately. It needs to run through
a cool down cycle before shutting itself down, which could take up to
3 minutes depending on how long the projector was on. During the cool
down cycle, the projector CANNOT be restarted.
