In mid to late August 2002, Central Michigan University moved to
a new messaging platform, Mirapoint,
for student email. This new platform provides greater stability,
security, and functionality. Students will continue to log in as before using
Your Global ID and Password.
Students can use most Web browser programs (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Eudora) to
access their accounts.
Functionality
You should find the new application interface easy to understand and use. You will also find enhanced
functionality that allows you to:

filter out junk mail
-
spell check mail
-
create an address book
-
search messages
-
access multiple (up to 10) external POP accounts
-
forward mail
-
create vacation messages
-
store up to 10 MB of
messages
To learn more about these features, use the built-in Help after you log in to
the email system.
Protection from viruses is also part of the system.

At the top left of this page, mouse over the My Email / Logins
button, then select Student Email.
Or, in a browser window,

To delete your Webmail messages
Read the Student Webmail internal Help to learn how to delete your unwanted
messages. In Webmail, select Help > Webmail > Deleting Messages.
