How can I register online, sign up  for classes online, see my bill online, and/or see my grades online?

Use MyCmich - the CMU Portal, to get answers to these questions.  There is a link to Registration in the permanent navigation on the left-side of every page of the portal.  Course search, registration and grades can be accessed through the "Academics" area of the portal.  Billing and account information can be accessed through the "Finances" area.

I can't log in to the portal; who do I call?

First, make sure you are properly entering your global ID and password, then call the helpdesk at (989)774-3662.

How do I submit feedback on the portal?

Call the Help Desk at (989) 774-3662 or email Helpdesk@cmich.edu with suggestions or comments about the portal. The Help Desk will forward the information to the appropriate department.

Where is the Portal?

To access the portal, go to the site: http://my.cmich.edu/

When can I log in to the portal?

Anytime!!  The portal is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week!

What is my Global ID?

Your global ID is the ID which was assigned to you when you were accepted for admission to CMU.  Read more...

What is my Campus ID Number?

Your Campus ID Number is a number assigned to you by SAP.  This number used to be a person's Social Security Number, (so it was both the 'student number' and used to identify all employees) but as of the 2005-2006 academic year, CMU is moving away from SSN as a primary identifier for security purposes.  This SAP-assigned number will be encoded in your campus ID badge.  You can find your student number by going into the portal and clicking on the "My Campus ID Number" link.
