to go to Finances --> Online billing and payment/View my account.
Where can I obtain a Calling Card?
Come to the Help Desk, Park Library 101, with your Chip ID card, and we
will assign you a card. After registration, the card will be mailed to the local address specified
on the form.
What should I do if my Calling Card is lost or stolen?
Contact the Help Desk at (989) 774-3662 immediately. We will deactivate
your card, and give you a deactivation number. Then, come to the Help Desk located in Park
Library 101.
Who do I contact to find the international rates?
International rates vary from month to month. You can call the Help Desk
at (989) 774-3662 for current international rates.
Who do I contact to find out my current charges?
The Help Desk can give you an estimate on your current charges. Call the

What should I do if I receive the error message: “We’re sorry - your
calling card number was entered incorrectly…” when I try to use the
Calling Card?
Once you register for a card, it takes 1 to 2 business days before it is
processed and activated. It is also possible that you are making an error
in dialing. Make sure you are following the instructions on the back of
the card exactly, and make sure you are not waiting more than a few
seconds between dialing digits. If problems persist, please call the Help
Desk at (989) 774-3662 and they can verify whether or not you have been
activated, as well as assist you with the dialing instructions.
What should I do if I get an error when dialing the 1-877-570-0007 number
on the back of the calling card?
Chances are you are dialing the number from the Mt. Pleasant area. The
1-877-570-0007 does not work in areas where Mt. Pleasant is a local call.
Use the 774-1200 number instead. It is also possible you are attempting to
use the calling card in another country. While the calling card does let
you make international calls, you need to originate the call from within
the United States.
What should I do if I am using my calling card and receive an error while
dialing the destination number?
First, double check to make sure you are following the instructions on the
back of the card exactly, and make sure you are not waiting more than a
few seconds between dialing digits. If that does not work, it is possible
there is a problem with the number you are dialing. You can confirm that
by attempting to call a different number or by verifying the number from a
different source. If problems persist, please call the Help Desk at (989)
774-3662 and they can verify whether or not your card is activated, as
well as assist you with the dialing instructions.
For additional assistance, contact the Help Desk at
helpdesk@cmich.edu or (989)
774-3662.
